Tulloch's acting career started with her being given the nickname Bitsie. The nickname remained in use until the year 2017, which is when Tulloch made the decision to change her name to Elizabeth. Like I've always been since I was a child, I still use Bitsie when I speak to someone. This was a good idea in the beginning as I began acting back in my 20s. Now that I'm into my 30s I'm starting to need to go back to Elizabeth due to billing issues. If I had done a movie I never thought about it. came to my mind. Producers were like Hey we noticed its Elizabeth while we were filling out your legal papers. Is that right? So I was thinking about the idea. I then called my manager, and both of them agreed that yeah thats a great idea. As you get getting older, it's the time to take a step forward. Bitsie is surely a cute name. It is cutesy. This is the whole thing it was that was said. Elizabeth isn't my name any more. Just for future billing. Tulloch comes from Scottish and Spanish heritage. Tulloch claims that Spanish was her first native language, but she is not fluent in the language. She has a paternal grandmother from Renfrewshire as well as a grandfather from Kirkwall. Both are in Scotland. The woman told BBC News that the Tullochs came to the US around 1880 and the Kerrs about 1900. When she came back in the U.S., she went to Bedford New York for middle and secondary school. Tulloch earned a magnacum-laude diploma at Harvard University in English and American Literature and a Double Degree in visual and Environmental Studies.
