Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler has a similar style to The Cinema Snob, but she is more inclined towards obsessively watching dumb action films. She started reviewing late in 2009 and gained some recognition on their forums, under her previous username Obscurus lupa. In the year 2010, she joined the Channel Awesome Family. The site remained active until the beginning of 2015 when the channel Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on the channel. Both are based on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. It reviews horrendous films aimed at children, RiffTrax and live shows. There are also times when it features adult comedy. She began in late 2009 reviewing films, which gained her acclaim on forums like the Channel Awesome forums. She then became a part of the family of network movie critics. Her appearances have included a variety on Channel Awesome, from Atop the Fourth Wall all the way to Phelous & the Movies. She has appeared in numerous episodes from Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of Channel Awesome's family along together with Doug Walker.
